Our West Shore ESD and the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) sponsored a regional training at the West Michigan Research Station in Hart in early August.
Led Colin Ripmaster, MASSP's Deputy Executive Director, the workshop helped district administrators explore ways for better ensuring that they are consistent in their evaluation of a teacher's performance.
"The session was worthwhile," said WSESD Superintendent Jason Jeffery. "The discussion improved clarity – and this is the first step toward improving fairness and consistency."
