Automotive Technology Instructor John Michalik and Para Pro Jake Turkett are beaming with pride for the achievements of their morning and afternoon students.
Students earned a combined total of 51 ASE Entry Level Industry Certifications!
The tests categories were Maintenance and Light Repair, Brakes, Electrical, Engine Performance as well as Suspension and Steering.
Each test category consisted of 60 -75 questions which meant students spent two full class days to take all of their tests.
Walkerville Senior Kenny Meitner said "Now I can go and get a job and show the employer that I am certified and I will be able to negotiate for a higher starting pay."
Baldwin Junior Seth Mabrey said "I am going to show my dad that I am certified now."
Manistee Junior Brandon Scholl said "I will be displaying my certification on my toolbox at Parkdale Auto."
Ludington Junior Dominic Reamer said "I can't believe I was able to come into this class at the start of the year not knowing much about cars and trucks and now I am getting my Industry Certifications."
