Speech and Language Pathology Services

What is a Speech and Language Pathologist?

Speech and language pathologists work with children and students from birth to age 26 to help them improve their speaking and communication skills. Speech and language pathologists may work with a school psychologist to evaluate students under the autism spectrum disorder guidelines and other disabilities. In addition, they participate on local school education teams to help address speech and language issues. They are required to have a master's degree.
