West Shore ESD’s business services department provides school districts with individualized and cost-effective, regional coordination of a multitude of services.

West Shore ESD CTE is a secondary career and technical education center that offers 13 occupational programs that prepare local high school juniors and seniors for postsecondary training, job placement, or military service. Our programs are housed in the Tech Center or in other facilities of the campus of West Shore Community College, with the exception of Construction Trades which is in the Rybicki Center, adjacent to the West Shore ESD itself.

The department of Instructional Services offers a variety of programs and services designed to improve the delivery of curriculum, instructional, and assessment, support student achievement, meet state and federal legislative mandates and enrich school programs throughout our three-county service area.

The WSESD provides a continuum of special education programs and services for individuals ages birth to 26 years old as mandated by the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
